When Cooper saw Aspen for the first time this year, he was a bit nervous and wondered if Aspen would remember him. It's been such a challenging year, but not only did Aspen remember Cooper, it's obvious that he relished in the grooming session. Cooper is one of our Zoom therapeutic riding students. Our PATH instructor, Diana, structured learning in three parts - first a recorded video about how to groom a horse "the Miracles way"; then live zoom classes where the students could watch a volunteer groom the horse and ask questions, and finally, a chance to practice what had been taught at the Miracles farm. It's easy to see from the video that Aspen really relaxed as Cooper used the brushes on Aspen's coat. Cooper's mom, Becky, shared her thoughts on how Miracles has had an impact, while we watched Cooper and Aspen.
